Murphy's Law - I'll do all this, then the compressor will fail.
I should really have done this with the original conversion of the Keezer.
I've decided that 20L kegs are the way to go, rather than faff around decanting to smaller kegs that will fit in the Keezer, the Keezer needs a collar (just like every other Keezer).
Fortunately, seven years ago, I decided to keep (hoard) the off-cuts from a new kitchen worktop.
Disconnecting the tap from its original position.
Having read a couple of articles, I decided that fixing the collar to the top of the Keezer wasn't the best idea. Its weight should be sufficient to keep it in place; not being a permanent fixture allows it to be lifted off to clean the bottom of the Keezer and make moving filled kegs easier.
Keezer article - Brew Cabin.
Draft excluder tape fitted around the bottom of the collar before fixing the lid to the top.
Next upgrade - Fit a second tap. The plan: to have 2 x 20L, plus 2 x 8L.
